Can be drink cold, warm or hot, the it’s up to season and type of sake. Usually be drink hot in winter. Should transfer the sake to a ceramic bottles, then soak the bottles in boiling water to heat sake. However, the experts recommend that 12oC in a room is the best temperature to enjoy the great taste of sake. Because the original sake has an outstanding aroma, when it is warmed up, the fragrance may overwhelm the scent of other foods.
When enjoy sake, we should choose a suitable type of glass (size, shape,…) to feel fully the special taste of Sake. For example:
– If you use a cup has narrow cup diameter, sake will focus on the top of your tongue, enable you to feel the sweetness of this wine.
– f you use a cup has wide diameter, the sake will spread of the tongue. The taste will touch your tongue, you can feel the sourness of the wine.
– The bigger the cup, the better the scent is above the wine, but it will smell more alcohol.
